Added a couple more paintings to my shop.

All the old Fonts

-
Over a lengthy period - where often I lose enthusiasm as kerning and resizing of typefaces is pretty dull - I have been updating all the fonts I've made. Also finally getting around to making a few that never got finished. The software has improved a lot so that's a bonus.

A lot of them had missing characters and punctuation as they were mostly made for title purposes, so I'll add all them and also sort out some kerning problems too.
Might not happen tomorrow, but I'll post each updated version here and post links of where they are available for download.
There should be a around 15 or so which isn't too shabbers,

The image above is of a font I made called Aulden Times, when I made it I didn't know how to import the shapes properly to Fontographer so all the letters were at different scales, this will be fixed in the new version.

New Painting

New painting for the start of the week. I'll be adding this and some more paintings to my Shop in the next few days.

Three's a crowd

Just placed together some recent sketches, been quite enjoying sketching with the Biro and then shading with the watercolour. There's a fair whack of photoshop in this though.

Square City

The original version I made of this much cleaner and brighter and the colours were clashed a lot more, but settled on this instead.
I'm going to do some more drawings that will suit the crazier colourschemes this week.

Prokudin-Gorskii Photo Collection

The images in the archive were taken by Prokudin-Gorskii using a camera of his own design, with a RGB photography technique, taken between 1909-1915.

The archive is pretty vast with 2606 images, the colours produced are great too, as with a lot of photography I like the inconsistencies and misalignments that produce the super vibrant colours. The high resolution versions are available too at a giant 45 megs each. There'll probably be an App for that soon. Just kidding, don't copy that idea I'm working on it myself...

I'm a sucker for giant archives of images, I think this is what the internet was invented for, the site it's hosted on has loads more cool stuff, pilots obviously and much more. Geek oooooon.

Angular Jaeket

First proper bit of paintin for the new year, this one's for Marina, hopefully we possibly will produce a garment like this, later on in the year.
